Newly renovated farmhouse only 40min by train to Stockholm central station, in Trosa, a popular commuter and Summer town. Many different rooms for living, dining and relaxing. Countryside garden with furniture and spaces for barbecuing dining and sunbathing.
The house of 175m2 inside consists of 3-4 bedrooms, a large fully equipped Kitchen, two bathrooms, one with shower. Dining room with open fireplace. 3 living rooms also with fireplaces, an entrance/cloakroom, an ‘uterum’ with wide countryside views and a utility room. In addition to above there is even an attic room for storage of Summer/Winter-clothes, cases etc.
Accommodation. The Master bedroom has a large double bed and good cupboard space, second bedroom with smaller double bed (120cm) has a walk-in closet room. Second upstairs bedroom with a work/TV area, has two “family bunkbeds” (lower 120cm and upper 90cm). One of the living rooms has a sofa-bed.
Heating: Two brand new air/air heat pumps one at each end of the house, new oil-filled radiators, wood stove in the kitchen, Keddy cassette in main living room and two original pipe stoves (small fireplaces in brick heat accumulators from early 1900s) in the dining room and second downstairs living room.
Water: own well with state of the art purification system (removes all particles, lime, iron, humus).
Good access to central Trosa or Vagnhärad on public transport or in safety on bicycle path. Vagnhärad is 5km for both train and bus connections to Stockholm.
Regarding furniture are we flexible depending on the length of the rental contract. No pets please (unless we’ve met them!). No payment defaults and no smoking.

General information: Trosa is a popular holiday destination presenting a good range of swimming, boating, outdoor possibilities in Stockholm's southern archipelago combined with the rich offer that Trosa town offers with restaurants, shops etc. Even a ski slope in winter when there is enough snow. Several interesting castles and two fine golf courses are nearby. In summer the Trosa marina fills up with boats from all over Europe and the restaurants fill with people and often music events. The Trosa river runs quite near us and through the town where many charming and old buildings are situated.

45 min to Stockholm by car.
Direct bus between Stockholm and Trosa.
Train between Stockholm and Vagnhärad; which can be reach be regular bus between Vagnhärad and Trosa.
