DESCRIPTION OF HOUSE A long driveway leads up to this one-floor white brick villa located in a quiet corner surrounded by greenery. It is designed with the gentle slopes of the terrain in mind. DESCRIPTION OF NEIGHBOURHOOD The house is located in a tranquil, green, upscale residential neighbourhood yet conveniently close to the commuter trains, schools, hospital, shopping centre and public baths. The neighbourhood of Danderyd/Djursholm is a fine, old suburb just north of Stockholm dotted with beautiful villas and mansions built around the last turn-of-the-century. A spacious park with playground lies just a minute’s walk away. Within a few blocks you can find the public swimming pool Mörbybadet and a larger park with outdoor bathing and riding school. Further afield but still within walking distance is the shopping centre at Mörby centrum (with Hemköp and Ica supermarkets, the department store Åhléns, pharmacies, health clinics, the library and many other stores), and Danderyd Hospital, one of Sweden’s leading medium-sized hospitals. Towards the opposite direction a short bus ride away is Djursholms centrum, with several good restaurants, Coop supermarket, an upscale bakery and the public library. The British International School of Stockholm and Futura Skolan International Pre-school Danderyd are also a short train ride away. Total traveling time to BISS is about 20 minutes by train or by foot. Just 3 minutes walking distance away is the commuter train (Roslagsbanan) station Djursholms-Ösby, where there is also a bus stop that can take you to, for example, Djursholms centrum and Mörby centrum. The commuter train takes you directly to the innercity subway stop Tekniska högskolan on the red line. There are also subway stops at Mörby centrum and Danderyd Hospital, both on the red line. Outside Danderyd Hospital there is a larger bus station trafficked by numerous bus lines. If you travel by car, the north-south highway E18 is just minutes away.
