The seaside house on Täcka Udden, Lidingö, dates from the last turn of the century, roughly. It was built by the inventor and airplane developer Carl Richard Nyberg (aka Flyg-Nyberg, check him out at Wikipedia.) The famous Ferdinand Boberg is said to be the architect. Greta Garbo used to hang out a bit here.
House area is roughly 125 square meters, plus a summer guest house. The bathroom on the ground floor is newly renovated. A toilet with a small shower is found on the top floor. The drinkable water comes from a private well. Gas stove and oven.
Separate wood-heated sauna. Two separate docks.
The residence is unique and truly delightful. It offers a very special archipelagic atmosphere for those who can appreciate it. The lights over the Baltic sea are ever-changing and fascinating, bordering on otherworldly. Fifteen minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown Stockholm, you step into a luxuriously relaxing sea-side country life.
